.n' >> how is "lincoln" not your favorite movie? >> that's a different one. >> that's it for us. thanks for watching. have a great week. >>> this is a fox news alert a. wild and chaotic day at the daytona international speedway after two crashes during the nationwide race, including this one. on the final lap moments before the end of the race, cellularson's car sailing into the fence that separates the track from the grand stands. he managed to escape from his car afterwards, but his accident set off a chain reaction with reports of at least ten cars crashing into each other. large chunk attention of debris flew into the stands, injuring fans. but we don't know how many were injured. emergency workers are being stretchers into the crowd to care for the injured. shortly before that crash, there was another accident involving 13 cars. this one happening with five laps remaining in the race. tony stewart won the race by maneuvering around the wreckage but did not celebrate afterwards. we'll bring you more details on this crash coming up later in this show. >> and we're glad you're with us

. an american hero, considered the most lethal sniper in u.s. history, was killed in a shooting in a texas gun range. welcome to a brand-new hour, here inside america's news headquarters. >> eric: good morning. he survived war zones, but was tragically killed in texas, where the former noted navy seal chris kyle was gunned down while reportedly helping a soldier, suffering from ptsd. kyle was a decorated veteran of the war in iraq. high served four tours and earned a number of medals for distinguished service and wrote a book about his time as a sniper. he is credited with worn 50 kills of insurgents. we go live to the new york city newsroom with the heart-breaking story. >> reporter: that's right. chris kyle, known as the u.s. military's most lethal sniper, and another man were killed at the rough creek lodge, outside of fort worth, texas. the accused shooter's believed to be a troubled, former soldier, now custody, after a dangerous pursuit. the loss has stunned the military community in which he was revered as an example of service and excellence. he wrote the best-selling auto biography, "

to congress if lawmakers can't agree on legislation of their own. doug is joining us live from washington. >> reporter: white house says it's a backup plan but they have come up with their own reform bill. president's plan that was leaked to u.s.a. today would offer special virsas to illegal immigrants that would put them on a pathway to full permanent citizenship. they say the president's plan will come into play only if congress fails to act. >> all it says to me we are doing exactly what we said we would do, we will be prepared in the bipartisan talks which we are aggressively supporting, if those don't work out, we'll have an option that we will be supporting. >> reporter: the problem may be enforcement. the president's plan does include some measures to secure the borders but the language appears to be vague and there is not a trigger mechanism but newer pathways to legalization. some say the president doesn't want to deal. here is rand paul. >> this is president saying his plan and saying he is not serious. there are many people that democrats bring these issues up as wedge issues.
